Cre8tive Play
Cre8tive Play is an independent nursery in Ashford, Kent for children aged between 3 months and 5 years.
Opened in September 2012 by Sharen Galvin who has 40 years’ experience in childcare, Cre8tive Play’s homely environment and welcoming team are the main aspects that parents comment on and the reason our children are happy, safe and secure when they are with us.
We are all passionate about childcare and provide a professional, high quality and caring environment where children are loved and encouraged to become confident and independent.
Big NEWS!
We’re delighted to share that our Baby Room will be re-opening in January 2026 — now in a beautiful new, separate space designed especially for our youngest children.
This dedicated room provides a calm, nurturing environment where babies from 9 months old can safely explore, play, and grow with the loving support of our experienced team.
We’re also excited to announce that from September 2026, we’ll be returning to full-time care (instead of term-time only). Spaces for September will be very limited, as demand for full-time care is already high.
We strongly encourage families to enrol early — if you’re able to join us for the temporary term-time provision, it’s a great way to secure your full-time place later in the year.
In addition, we have:
🧸 Toddler Room spaces (ages 2–3 years) available from January 2026
🌈 Preschool Unit spaces (ages 3–4 years) becoming available from September 2026

Our Activites
Learning through play
Activities are planned using the government's 'Early Years Foundation Stage' guidance.
Playtime fun
Play topics include painting, sticking, cooking, construction, outdoor activities and more.

Staff are carefully chosen for their ability, passion and dedication besides qualifications.
Healthy, delicious food
We can provide a wide range of cooked meals and desserts for a small cost.
We frequently take the children out on local excursions to the soft play centre, garden centres and on outings to look at the changing seasons and other interesting things around our locality
